. at this point deputies say they don't have a suspect description. but as you guys mentioned actively here on scene still gathering evidence and clearing out this area. just to let you know, deputies say this happened around 12:16 this morning. they received multiple 911 calls from the 300 block of drake avenue. when they got here they found a 17-year-old boy shot with multiple gunshot wounds. deputies say he was surrounded by several witnesses, one trying to revive him. unfortunately, it was no use. authorities also tried to administer cpr. he was pronounced dead a short tim after. the boy's sister said he was visiting and got here a few days ago. >> nobody knows him here. he came out and visited a long time ago. nobody knows him. he had no beef with nobody out here. just turned 17 four days ago. >> reporter: his sister says he was a high school student visiting from weed, california. as for what happened before the shooting, investigators are still interviewing witness to piece together what happened and those details. we want to make note, this is
